HEADING INTO THE 37TH & 38TH ANNUAL KING’S ROYAL WITH 13 VICTORIES ON THE SEASON AND THREE IN A ROW

The NAPA AUTO PARTS No. 49 traveled to Wilmot Raceway for a one day show on Saturday. Sweet has never won at Wilmot Raceway, so the Kasey Kahne Racing (KKR) team were looking for their first.  Sweet went out late in the qualifying order, 24th out of 26 cars in attendance, and ended up setting his fifth Slick Woody’s QuickTime award with a lap of 12.791. The Grass Valley, California, native started on the pole of the first Drydene heat race, where he led all 10 laps to win it and transfer into the Fast Pass Dash.  The Fast Pass Dash was eight laps in distance and Sweet went from third to second. THE NO. 49 CLAIMS THEIR 11TH AND 12TH WORLD OF OUTLAW VICTORIES OF THE 2021 SEASON WITH A CEDAR LAKE WEEKEND SWEEP

The World of Outlaws traveled to New Richmond, Wisconsin, for a two-day Independence Day Spectacular Friday and Saturday evening. 29 cars were in attendance on Friday night. Sweet went out last in the qualifying order, laying down a lap time of 11.953. That put the No. 49 11th quick overall. The NAPA AUTO PARTS, Kasey Kahne Racing (KKR) No. 49 started fourth in the second Drydene heat race, where they went onto finish second, transferring into the Fast Pass Dash.  Sweet drew the four pill out of the NOS Energy Drink can for his Fast Pass Dash starting position. The “Month of Money” began on Monday, June 21, at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, South Dakota. With five races in eight nights and over $100,000 on the line, Brad Sweet and the Kasey Kahne Racing (KKR) No. 49 team unloaded at the 3/8-mile facility aiming to cash in. SWEET AND THE NAPA AUTO PARTS NO. 49 PICKS UP THEIR 10TH WORLD OF OUTLAW WIN OF THE SEASON

This past weekend saw the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series hold three events in three days. The weekend kicked off on Thursday at 34 Raceway in Burlington, Iowa. Brad Sweet and the Eric Prutzman led No. 49 team unloaded fast and qualified fourth-fastes with a lap time of 12.911. SWEET KEEPS POINTS LEAD AFTER CHARACTER-BUILDING WEEKEND

The No. 49 NAPA AUTO PARTS team traveled to Knoxville Raceway this weekend for two nights of action at the famous half-mile located in central Iowa. Brad Sweet kicked off night one of the Brownells Big Guns Bash qualifying fifth overall in flight A with a lap time of 15.444. He lined up third in Drydene heat race competition, right behind car owner Kasey Kahne. Sweet made a last lap pass on Kahne to take the second spot, transferring him into the Fast Pass Dash.
