SWEET KEEPS POINTS LEAD AFTER CHARACTER-BUILDING WEEKEND

The No. 49 NAPA AUTO PARTS team traveled to Knoxville Raceway this weekend for two nights of action at the famous half-mile located in central Iowa. Brad Sweet kicked off night one of the Brownells Big Guns Bash qualifying fifth overall in flight A with a lap time of 15.444. He lined up third in Drydene heat race competition, right behind car owner Kasey Kahne. Sweet made a last lap pass on Kahne to take the second spot, transferring him into the Fast Pass Dash. SWEET BRINGS HOME ANOTHER TOP FIVE FINISH, NOW LOOKING AHEAD TO THE BROWNELLS BIG GUNS BASH THIS WEEKEND

Brad Sweet and the NAPA AUTO PARTS Kasey Kahne Racing No. 49 started off Friday night at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, North Dakota battling scorching 100+ degree temperatures. The Kasey Kahne Racing (KKR) team was third fastest in qualifying, and with 25 cars in attendance, Sweet was scheduled to start first in the third Drydene heat race. Just after qualifying, Mother Nature had other ideas and rain started to fall, forcing the World of Outlaws to cancel the event. THE NO. 49 NAPA AUTO PARTS TEAM PICKED UP A WIN AT KNOXVILLE RACEWAY SATURDAY NIGHT AND EARNED KSE HARD CHARGER MONDAY AT LAWRENCEBURG SPEEDWAY

Brad Sweet and the NAPA AUTO PARTS No. 49 team started the weekend off with a rain out Friday night at Terre Haute Action Track. That allowed the Kasey Kahne Racing (KKR) team to load up and head west to Knoxville Raceway. They find themselves back at Knoxville Raceway in a couple of weeks, but getting any extra laps you can around there before the Knoxville Nationals in August is good.  31 410’s were in attendance and the NAPA AUTO PARTS No. 49 timed in fourth quick overall with a lap time of 15.391. SWEET AND THE NAPA AUTO PARTS NO. 49 ADDS TWO MORE TOP FIVE FINISHES IN 2021

Brad Sweet and the No. 49 NAPA AUTO PARTS Kasey Kahne Racing (KKR) team started off the week with a visit to Bridgeport Motorsports Park on Tuesday, May 18th. With 30 cars in attendance, Sweet stopped the clock at a 13.426, timing in fifth quick overall.  The No. 49 team lined up second in Drydene heat two with eight laps being the distance. Sweet went on to finish third, lining him up eighth in the 30-lap main event. SWEET AND KKR NO. 49 TEAM PICK UP THEIR NINTH WIN OF THE SEASON AT LINCOLN

  This week’s World of Outlaws action for the No. 49 NAPA AUTO PARTS Kasey Kahne Racing (KKR) team started off with Brad getting their ninth victory of the season at Lincoln Speedway on Wednesday. That became Sweet’s 67th career World of Outlaw win, placing him 12th on the all-time win list.  The No. 49 NAPA AUTO PARTS team started off the evening being fastest overall in hot laps. With a field of 48 cars, qualifying was split into two- 24 car flights. Sweet was the 18th car to qualify in flight B, stopping the clock at 13.474.
